Caroline - Nail Technician
Caroline is our Nail specialist. Working exclusively with gel polish and BIAB, beautifully painted nails make Caroline so happy especially a bright colour. Caroline also loves to spray tan her clients in a golden sun kissed glow so they have body confidence. |
Sammie - Hair Director
Sammie is our Hair Director. Experienced in cuts, colours and styling, Sammie loves nothing more than transforming dull, lifeless hair into something that makes her clients smile every time they look in the mirror. |
Carla - Beauty Therapist
Carla is our Beauty Therapist and specialises in Lash Extensions and waxing. That's not to say Carla doesn't paint a mean set of nails! As a former nurse, Carla also administers our Vitamin Injections which she carries out from our private treatment room. |
OUR HISTORY
Founded in 2012, Kings Hill Nails started with just Caroline working as a mobile nail tech offering CND Shellac to local clients on Kings Hill painting flawless fingers and toes in gel. The lovely Maxine then joined Caroline once she started working from home offering LVL's and nails. Eventually Maxine and Caroline were extremely busy and it was time to launch a salon.
In 2015, Caroline rented a room in Churchill Sqaure that would become Kings Hill Nails & Beauty and a whole host of fabulous ladies joined the team including Carla.
What was supposed to be the final move in 2016, we moved to Liberty Square in a salon that would be branded at Kings Hill Nails Beauty Lounge. Sparkly pink and Prosecco pedicures were the order of the day! We were extremely happy in our beauty salon until... the dreaded C word came and the whole world came to a stop in March 2020. I don't think any of us were prepared for what was to follow.
The beauty industry closed for 3 months... Caroline made the heartbreaking decision to never re-open the doors and we had to say goodbye to all the girls including Carla. Caroline just couldn't see herself working as a nail tech without Carla by her side, so after a very tearful social distanced meeting, they came up with a plan.
Caroline & Carla would continue to work together out of Caroline's house until a move back to Churchill Square in December 2020 for the past 2 1/2 very happy years. It was a very tough 2 1/2 years where we as an industry were closed for 9 months of it from in total due to Covid.
Carla and Caroline have worked together for at least 10 years now. Carla was originally a client at Kings Hill Nails before adding lashes to her Beauty Therapy qualification and joining Kings Hill Nails Beauty Lounge as THE Lash Queen.
Caroline has been a natural nail technician for over 13 years and specialises in gel polish overlays and BIAB on the natural nail. She's also our Spray Tan queen and lists it as one of her favourite things to do!
Caroline and Carla spend their working day laughing and nothing is off limits with discussions as our current clients will tell you!
Onto the most exciting thing to happen in ages... Sammie joined the team offering hair cuts, hair colours and hair styling for men and women. It's always been a dream to offer the full package to our clients and Sammie is the perfect fit for us. Having a hair dressers in the same space as our beauty salon offers such convenience and really does make us the one stop shop!
In June 2024, Emily joined us as a hair stylist and make up artist. Emily specialises in updo's and make up and is a bridal make up artist/hair stylist too.
If you're after women who simply love what they do, we're the salon for you. We are very casual and you won't find us in a uniform. Most of our clients have been with us since the beginning which we appreciate. However, there's always room for some new like minded people!

If you're an existing client, you can easily make your bookings online! If you're new and haven't visited our salon in The Landings yet, just drop us a WhatsApp message first before booking online as we need to set you up. Please note that new clients making online bookings will incur a 20% extra charge, as that’s what we’re charged. Thanks for understanding!
